A lovely comfy room with a private shower and the shared use of a kitchen; our home is situated in the centre of Hartland. Next door is the Old Bakery Coffee Shop. Open every day; it offers breakfast and all manner of ‘light bites’ - a gem! On the doorstep, are The Kings Arms and Pattard Kitchen, potteries, art galleries, village shops/post office. Stunning coastal scenery, St Nectan's Church, the Abbey and the Quay Hotel are just some of the wonderful places to sample in this unique area.
Our home is a traditional cob and stone Devon home in a cottagy style in the centre of this thriving village. It has an unusual lay-out which effectively means that guests have a private space. Parking is easy and within a hundred yards of the front door we have two pubs, medical centre, coffee shop, convenience store and very soon a fish and chip shop!
As well as their room, guests will also have the shared use of a galley kitchen with complimentary tea, coffee and milk and facilities for preparation of their own meals (cooker, hob, fridge, toaster, kettle, utensils, crockery and cutlery, washer/dryer).

We work from home so will be easily available to help with places of interest, where to eat, etc. If you are walking the coastal path, please let us know as we may be available to pick up / drop off.
Dogs may be welcome but by prior arrangement only. The reason for this is because although we love dogs and have one of our own, we do not have a garden; the nearest place to walk is about 100 yards away. There are dog bins dotted around the area. We respectfully stipulate that no dog(s) goes on the furniture or the bed. If your dog(s) is used to sleeping downstairs as ours is, then there is a warm, dry utility area that it/they can use. We also have spare dog beds/blankets. Please ask and we can talk you through it.
