We came to Irvine from San Francisco to see if it's a good place to move to. Thanks God we rented Jennifer's house! A week was enough for us to fell in love with the house, neighborhood and Irvine!
The house is absolutely new (literally), and is located in a brand new village. Everything everywhere (inside and outside) is clean and new. Humongous TV (70+ inches, my kids got hooked instantly). Washer, dryer, grill, everything is new. The neighborhood is very clean and quiet. There are two pools in the neighborhood, and the closest is ~5 minute walk away. We quickly acquired a habit of relaxing in the pool after a day, which was easy because nights in July were warm and very pleasant (after living in SF we forgot it's even possible). There is a shopping center across the street (try French bakery there), and another one within 5 mins of driving. Roads between villages are wide and speed limit is 50, so my commute to (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) was just 20 mins (compare to 90 mins in SF).
I could go on and on, but TLDR is that we believe that Jennifer's house allowed us to experience Irvine the right way, and we're very grateful!
