If I can elaborate, the stove broke literally the morning of the booking. It was an immediate issue that we tried to handle as best we could. There was no misleading or anything of the sort. Nonetheless, it was a matter of bad timing and we apologized profusely and even tried to mediate the situation by actually going with Sean to get a new cooktop.
The pool is maintained and cleaned every week. Our prior guests had not mentioned anything and I can't explain why it got to the state that it did within three days. It was unfortunate and, again, not something we anticipated. We will be more diligent with the pool maintenance but we do encourage people to use the pool, it is safe and cleaned and it was a bad week for it.
We will always do what we can to help a guest's trip if something goes awry and will try to make it better.
