My place is close to A village named Sethan, the population of the village is 15-20 people and is at an altitude of 9,000 ft.
We are surrounded by lush evergreen deodar trees and conifers, and situated at a place from where we are overlooking Manali. We host solo adventurers, business travelers, couples, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets).
We do activities like farming, short hikes and nature walks, bird watching trips and we have mini library too
All guests can access the outdoor badminton court, common areas for seating, hammocks and the farms. you could try a hand at farming.
I take my guests for treks and short hikes if they wish to, I conduct most of the activities at camp myself. I'd be available whenever needed.
Sethan is a small village at 9000 ft far off in the mountains, the people of this village belong to the Khampa tribe of Lahaul and Spiti. The village has about 20 houses and 30-40 residents and most of the people are working in different parts of the state. People here live in old wooden houses.
The road to Sethan is a permit road and since the population is very less no buses come to Sethan. You could always take a cab or a taxi to Sethan from Manali. Since it is a permit road, if you're driving down, we would need you to send the details of your car registration and driving license so that we could arrange for the permit before you arrive.

I ride horses and climb mountains, mountaineer by passion and the owner of an adventure company. I did my hotel Management with the Taj group of Hotels and I've been exploring the Himalayas since I was 12 years old. Putting together my experience with the Hotels and the mountains, and develop on the concept of sustainable living and that's how one one of my treks to Hampta pass I came across this offbeat location called Sethan
I have always wanted to learn farming the hard way like the locals, and that's exactly what I am doing here.
I love music and I listen to a lot of blues, jazz and classic rock. Reading books laying on the hammock and playing with my dogs is my kind of and evening here. I love kids teaching how to climb and i dream to have a Mountaineering School only for children.
