Sunny 2-bedroom (currently 1 large bedroom but can prep room 2 with no trouble). top-floor, quiet flat with great views. Newly decorated. New bathroom and kitchen. Quiet neighbourhood, 4-6 minutes' walk from Gipsy Hill station (from where it is 28 mins to London Bridge or Victoria). It's a 10-minute stroll to the vibrant Crystal Palace "triangle" with its restaurants, shops, antique markets and pubs. Five minutes to local shops, takeaways and pubs. Make yourself at home!
My flat goes down really well with couples, tourists, business people and friends visiting London.
New kingsize bed in bedroom 1. (Memory foam kingsize mattress in bedroom 2 if required). Has all the usual amenities – a new, fully fitted kitchen and bathroom, microwave, washing machine, new oven and induction hob and so on. I have all the required safety certificates, and a smoke alarm. You have your own front door. Plenty of parking space on the street. This is my home, so my books and many of my knick-knacks will be there, but you'll have plenty of room and the wardrobes and drawers will be clear. My flat, I have now found, is not really suitable for boisterous young families and noisy gangs of young blokes – I have to think of my neighbours as being on the top floor is not the same as living below a baby elephant!
All the rooms in the flat are free to wander in but please respect my things. You enter the little block using the communal entrance but have your own front door. I'll leave you lots of tea/coffee, condiments, basics like pasta and so on. There should be milk, orange juice there too. Help yourself to fridge items. I doubt you'll be short of anything. Check in after 3pm and check out before 11 so the cleaners have time to prepare the flat for you!
The flat is three storeys up and there's no lift.

Usually I will be quite local so any problems, give me a buzz. Occasionally I will be away and even more occasionally out of mobile phone signal, but I will always leave you a number to call in an emergency and someone will be always around to help.
It's up on the third floor – no lift. Not suitable for young families and gangs of lads as it will be too noisy for the poor neighbours below!
I can't accept young families or groups of young blokes any more because they draw on my walls and windows and/or I get complaints from the poor neighbours downstairs. Sorry! ;-)
I live and work here in London as a journalist, but occasionally I find myself away for longish periods. I like travelling off the beaten track if I can. I'm an outdoors feller; if there's a mountain I want to be on top of it. I spend time cycling, hiking, playing the drums ... and chasing down tornadoes!
