Far Oakridge is a small hamlet in the South Cotswolds and is in a peaceful location, ideal for getting away from it all. The area offers wonderful walking through outstanding countryside as well as proximity to the famous Roman towns of Bath, Cheltenham and Cirencester. Close by are the market towns of Stroud which is well renown for its fantastic local artisan farmers market every Saturday morning and Nailsworth which has a classified ‘Fairtrade’ status. Slightly further afield is Tetbury which is an antique collectors haven featuring many independent boutiques and retailers. You are spoilt for choice when it comes to pubs and restaurants. There are two double rooms to rent which both have access to a large shared private shower room with walk in shower, toilet and basin. Adjoining this is an area on the landing with a comfortable sofa where you can sit and relax with a cup of tea/coffee whilst reading the paper or just use it as a place to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the wildflower meadow.
