Warm hospitality is offered to everyone, whether you're on business or your journey is for pleasure. We live on the premises and will normally be present during our guests' stay, but we place a high premium on time and privacy and will interact only should our guests wish to do so!
There is a 500m stretch of reasonably maintained gravel road to reach our entrance.

Be cautious about walking bare feet after dark. It is Africa, after all!

Alan and Leonora Williams established Stonecrop to share the beauty of the property with guests, as well as with family and friends.
They share a love for outdoor life, travelling, gardening, bird watching, reading and photography, spending lazy afternoons with fantastic friends, good wine and excellent food. They are keen hikers and love a Sunday morning drive on Alan's motorbike.
Regular exercise in the form of cycling or running is high on their agenda and when they travel, it is usually combined with participation in one or other of their physical activities, and mostly in a group with friends. Their absolute favourite destination is Cape Town, and they can never get enough of this beautiful city at the southern tip of Africa.
Their hosting style is very laid-back - there isn't even a formal reception area! They like welcoming their guests warmly on arrival, but will then respect the guests' privacy and stay on the background, yet are available when needed.
Their respective life mottoes are:
Alan: 'Live, laugh, love - give freely of yourself'!
Leonora: 'Carpe Diem' and 'If it's worth doing, it's worth doing well.'
