Until recently, my husband Dave lived on five acres on top of a mountain in Conifer at 9800', along with our four-legged children, Wilbur the Pug and Winston, our Mastiff Mix. The view was breathtaking, the house was very comfy and we felt like we live in Nirvana. We stayed for almost 20 years.
We now live at an altitude of 8000', in nearby Evergreen. For us, mountain living includes a lot of perks including living in a beautiful environment, feeling a part of nature and having plenty of hiking trails within a 5-mile radius of your home. There's a true sense of community in a small mountain town like Evergreen. I call it “doggie heaven”, but it’s my slice of heaven too.
One might call me an introverted extrovert. I’m friendly, open-minded, and politically active. I try to stay fit, so I look for opportunities to include activity and there are plenty of fun sports in our beautiful state.
