This 1923 bungalow is right on the MAX line, and a short walk to N Mississippi Avenue. You can get downtown in 15 minutes by car, bike, or train, or walk three blocks to get to amazing bars and restaurants on North Killingsworth Street.
This house has been inspected and approved for short term rentals by the City of Portland.
This is a comfortable and well-appointed space for either business travelers, remote workers, or vacationers who want to be near transit and city attractions.
You can park on the street right in front of my place for free! This is an anomaly in Portland. You might want to just park your car and use transit/uber during your stay to avoid the nightmare of traffic and parking.
The main level of this house is all that is currently pleasant for polite company. The basement and attic are unfinished and terrifying. I purchased the house alone in January of 2017, and I am gradually making improvements to the house. If you venture into the attic and basement, you will get a glimpse into what the place looked like at that point. If a transitioning house is not your cup of tea, I highly recommend The Nines Hotel downtown, which has an excellent rooftop bar called Departure. I won't be offended if you book there instead. I am hoping to marry rich and live there myself.

Guests receive a lock box code in their itinerary when they book. I don't generally meet my guests, but would love to swing by and say hi if you like that idea!
I created the airbnb experience that I look for as a guest! The important things to me: a key box for easy check-in, a speaker hookup for your phone (because we all know you need music to make it a real party!), a number of bedding and pillow options for fussy sleepers like myself, hygge lighting, beverages on hand, magazines at the ready, and easy access to transit.
- Recycling and composting containers are provided.
If you use the heat, please turn it off upon your departure.

I am an instructional videographer for a healthcare tech company in downtown Portland. I purchased this house in January 2017 and I'm trying to enjoy the process of fixing it up! I love traveling, collecting art, and sharing charts about my life experiences.
