There are fabulous pubs and restaurants with all the charm that local Ireland has to offer. Everyone is welcome at The Coach House
The Coach House was originally built early last century so when renovated 25 years ago we retained the original structures and the current main living room is actually the old stables.
The house retains a lot of its old character and my family have lived here since I was a child.
The back garden is separated from the sea by a boundary wall but the views of the Cooley mountains and Clogherhead are breathtaking.
The house is old and if you listen carefully might even speak to you. If not, I can tell you a few yarns about its history over the years.
Guests will have access to the house if the so wish but guarantee you will want to spend most of your time in the main living room with its wooden beams and open fireplace. This is part of the deal and it is all yours. Rambo and I are happy in the "wee" room and we want to share the best of what The Coach has to offer.

Happy to help but I want you to treat The Coach House as your home for as long as you stay. I can recommend lovely places to go and things to do but only if you need me. Just ask.
Hope you like my pet pug Rambo coz he might lick you to death. If not he is happy in his own room.
Lived in Dublin, London, Hong Kong and Malta but happiest at home in the beautiful seaside village and community of Blackrock, In Ireland, where I am born and bred. "There's no place like home"
My significant other is a black pug called Rambo. For fun I help out with local GAA football club, The Geraldines, play tennis and drink pints in The Neptune for banter and post match analysis.
