A mile from the market town of Halesworth, easy to walk or bicycle over backroads or footpaths, and half a mile from Holton village, East Lodge is set in woodland, with a large open garden. It's cosy inside with a wood burner fire in the centre of the home heating both sitting and dining room. Oil central heating, combi boiler. Recently renovated. Dog friendly. 15 minutes drive to the sea at Southwold or Walberswick.
A stones throw down the road is my 5 acre woodland which guests are free to venture into. An oak nuttery with two pounds and two cabins. Hedge laying begun along boundaries. Southern views to Blythburgh.
Guests can have access to the whole place or just use one bedroom.

Yes, I'll be available and close by.
The garden is not fenced in yet (there are plans), so dog owners will have to take care of dogs from the road. There are two other friendly dogs on the land, belonging to friends who live in the garden.
The longing to get back on the road, and equal longing for settled life keep a tension alive. I've settled near the market town of Halesworth: East Anglian, Focus Organic and Juan, The Cut Arts Centre, and a railway station to get away. Near by is my woodland of 5.5 acres, in to which I welcome dog walkers and friends. Sometime writer and meditator, I walk the border collie dogs, and travel when I can.
