This sunny flat is located right next to LaSalle metro 3 stops from downtown & walking distance from Lachine Canal park Atwater market & the vibrant St-Henri neighborhood. It's also near great cafes & restaurants on Wellington street + bike path network
I welcome quiet, respectful guests for short to medium stays in this airy private room as long as they can follow my no-gluten kitchen rule (I am highly allergic) Guests have access to the private bedroom, bathroom, kitchen (breakfast) & gym.
This classic Montreal apartment has tons of natural light and charming hard wood floors. There is also backyard access in the summertime and a Porch with a BBQ. The guest room has a very comfy sofa bed in it that can close up during the day if guests prefer the extra space. Shared spaces include a fully-equipped gluten-free kitchen (only for breakfast preparation or storing a few snack items in the fridge) washer/dryer access, and a functional gym with basic equipment like yoga mats, a ballet bar, weights and other small props for exercising.
Located on the second floor, the flat is accessible through a front exterior door. Guests will be given their own key upon check-in.

As a personal fitness trainer I rise and retire quite early and often need an afternoon nap. So far my guests and I have been successful in not disturbing each other's sleep. I am assuming that guests will usually be occupied away from the flat during a good part of the daytime.
Other than breakfast the kitchen is not available for meal preparation unless I have booked the whole flat while I am out of town.
People seem to consider me to be an energetic, cheerful, friendly mom type. My kids are all grown up and on their own. I have a career as a personal fitness trainer which means that I am always popping out and in between house calls and often available to provide information to guide you around the city if you want. (or to remind you not to forget your hat LOL) There is also an exercise space available to you in the flat. I like to do a lot of outdoor activities in and around Montreal - especially gardening, biking and visiting outdoor cafes in summer and know all the best bike paths & places to go. I love to bake so there is usually some fresh gluten free delight available in my kitchen, and fresh raspberries aplenty to be picked all summer, along with broad beans, beet tops, kale, garlic, onions & Tomatoes as they become ripe. Usually I have my thumbs on the cultural pulse of this exciting city so there will be plenty of options for you to choose from. For fun I sing with The PopTones which perform the end of each Jan. and May. My favorite place is home sweet home 'cause Montreal has everything! :)
