We love it here. And we are sure you will do too. And why not. Our house sits on the edge of a town with quite a choice of shops and eateries looking out across woodland to the cliffs and ski slopes beyond. But this so much more than a ski chalet. It is a place to enjoy all year round, within minutes of tennis courts, open air and covered swimming pools, zip wires and more…. And inside, you will see just how homely our home is.
It is called Pre Du Bois with good reason. Walk past 10 houses and you are in the woods. Head past the tennis courts and the swimming pool and head into town. Or go downhill to the next village of Araches to pick up baguettes from the bakers there. And the Almond croissants have to be tasted to be believed. Travel a little further and there is plenty for your family to explore. There are many walks around the town, up the valley to Les Molliets and its traditional inn. Longer walks on the other side of the valley lead to down to Araches and beyond. Head round the mountain to the lovely Alpine town of Samoens and its market. Next along that road is Sixt, home to many spectacular waterfalls. Another waterfall down in the valley is called Lucifer close by the lakes which warm up fabulously in the summer sun. If your family loves cycling, kayaking, walking or climbing you could have just found a fabulous place to be.
So, what are we offering. Ours is one of four homes in the building, the biggest, located on the 1st and top floors with your own front door. The high ceiling sitting room opens onto a balcony and links to the kitchen. The kitchen has a full sized oven, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave and more. On this level there are also 2 double bedrooms, the bathroom and the WC. Stairs lead up to 2 more bedrooms, a double and a single. This is no spartan letting property, it is our winter home full of art, Alpine fabrics and with all that you are likely to need.
Besides our home you also have use of a nearby garage.

We can't be there if you are! But a friend of ours is on hand to help.
We live in sunny Devon, Andy and I. I came back here to the village I lived in as a child some 12 years ago now. ... to a lovely home overlooking the water. We built this garden room in our lower garden to enjoy the best views down the estuary. In our upper garden we run a Tea Garden on sunny summer weekends. Otherwise we are both busy being creative or walking the dog, Millie. Running the Tea Garden has shown us how much fun it is to share our good fortune in living in such a lovely place. Now you can share it too....
