This spacious 2 bedroom condo is 2 blocks from Golden Gate Park, on the N Judah light rail, and steps from the shops and cafés of Cole Valley. Big corner windows, kid friendly, open kitchen and cozy bedrooms.
This streamline modern building is right on the corner and has big, bright windows throughout the house. An open floor plan makes this a great space for cooking, relaxing, and sharing good times. The kitchen is spacious and open to the dining room. The smaller bedroom has a queen bed. The larger second bedroom is a kids' room with a toddler bed and travel crib, play kitchen, kids books, and plenty of toys. Black and white tile bathroom with a separate bathtub and shower. Wood floors with rugs throughout.
Guests will have full access to our apartment, plus access to a garage we share with our condo co-owners/neighbors. The garage includes a secure parking spot and washer and dryer. You'll also get access to the backyard, which is small but has big jasmine vines, lounge chairs, and lots of lovely plants and flowers.

We won't be around to help with maintenance or other issues that might come up. The apartment is in great shape though, so we don't expect any problems during your stay. We will gladly help troubleshoot problems from afar, and will have a few regular handyman types on call.
Former guests have asked us to explicitly mention that we don't have a TV or microwave, in case you're expecting those. We do have wireless for online streaming, and pots and pans for stovetop cooking.
One of the rooms has a crib, and we have plenty of baby/toddler toys, books, and the like.
We expect our guests to leave the place clean when you leave. And guests must be quiet in the evenings (anytime after 9pm). Our upstairs neighbors can easily hear loud talking and music, so if you think you'll be a noisy guest, this isn't the place for you.

I'm from a small town in Oklahoma, went to college in California before heading to the East Coast for about a decade. I moved back to the Bay Area about two years ago and love living near mountains, oceans, and in a city with amazing food and art and parks and many close friends. I love to travel, which I get to do a fair amount in my work in urban planning. Most weekends are spent in the mountains and on the beaches of California.
We're happy to host all types of people in our place, whether it's renting our whole apartment while we're off on vacation, or having someone share the space and rent our spare room. My husband has a history of traveling by bike and staying with people through Servas and Couchsurfing, so we like to think we're welcoming hosts who can give you great suggestions for great places to eat, neighborhoods to walk around, and the best museums, parks, and other cultural attractions.
