A double bedroom in a cottage with off-road parking. I have 2 dogs and 3 chickens. The house is in a quiet lane on the edge of Narberth. It's in a wooded valley with a bridlepath and a stream running through it. Beautiful beaches are 10 minutes’ drive away by car. Narberth town can be reached on foot in around 10 mins but it involves walking up a steep hill (there is a pavement). The shared bathroom has a huge bathtub and a separate walk-in shower. I can accommodate a 3rd person on request.
The room looks out over my back garden and the surrounding trees. It contains a comfy double bed, a chest of drawers, and a clothes rail with hangers. It has a digital TV with all the Freesat channels as well as a built-in DVD player. Please feel free to borrow any of my DVD's if you just fancy curling up in your room with a movie. As well as the double bed there's also a giant bean bag, which can be puffed up to use as an upright armchair or laid low to use as a sort of 'giant banana', which is so comfy you can fall asleep in it!
The bathroom contains a very deep bathtub with a mixer tap and a hose, as well as a separate, powerful walk-in shower.
On request I can also offer space for a third person - adult or child - as I have a box room with a sofa bed in it which I can make available, but please check with me before booking.
Guests are welcome to access any part of the house except my bedroom. Guests will share my bathroom. I can provide a basic breakfast in the kitchen (certain cereals, fruit, yogurt, toast). I prefer guests not to cook their own meals in the kitchen unless on prior request, but guests are welcome to make themselves a tea or coffee in the kitchen and are also welcome in the garden. I provide the 'essentials' which means hand soap, toilet paper, clean sheets and towels. Please if you can bring your own toothpaste, shower gel and shampoo.

I'm often working, but I'm more than happy - when available - to chat or socialise with guests or just offer some advice on where to go.
I have two dogs, a 13 year old wire fox terrier and a 2 year old lurcher. They are very friendly and they're allowed all around the house, but of course they will be excluded from the guests' bedroom unless guests specifically want to invite them in. I advise all guests to keep their bedroom door closed, because the lurcher loves to investigate (there's nothing lovelier to her than rummaging through someone's bags). Please note that - true to the breed - the lurcher is also adept at stealing food, so it's best to not leave any lying around! I also have three chickens who live in an enclosure in the garden. They don't come in the house!
Because I have dogs and chickens, please discuss with me first if you'd like to bring your dog. If you'd like to bring a third person - adult or child - I have a box room with a sofa bed in it which I can make available at an extra cost (£15/night), but again please ask before you book. And if it's ok I'd prefer no shoes upstairs, but that's not a dealbreaker!
Pembrokeshire is stunningly beautiful, and Pembrokeshire people are relaxed and easy-going. I work for BBC radio and my work takes me out and about. My two dogs come everywhere with me too. I enjoy meeting new people so I'm hoping that being an Airbnb host will be a fun and enlightening experience.
