This is a totally self-contained unit! Living here feels like you're living on your own private lakefront property. And yet, downtown Halifax is 20 minutes away. This large apartment provides all the comforts of home! A very basic breakfast for the short term is available. You will find every tool/appliance required to prepare your meals, wash your laundry and relax. You will, on occasion, hear reminders that there are others living in the house as well.

Prostor
The apartment has its own entrance, down 10 outside stairs. There is a kitchen with a full-size fridge and stove as well as a microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and toaster. The clothes washer and dryer are in the bathroom. There is coffee, tea, hot and cold cereal, and milk available for you. A master bedroom with a queen bed and a smaller bedroom with two twin beds is included. The living room opens up to the deck, to enjoy the view of the lake.

Your space is totally yours but it is within our family home. It is important to us that our guests are not only respectful of our home but also of our neighbours in terms of noise. You will, on occasion, hear the pitter-patter of tiny feet when our grandchildren visit.

You will find our House Manual in the section called "Info for guests". Please read it before you arrive so there will be no unpleasant surprises for either of us!

You are not permitted to smoke in the apartment or on this property.

Our neighborhood is a quiet, friendly residential area, surrounded by parks and green space. The ocean and trails through the forest are just short walks away. No worries about traffic noise.

There is a great casual restaurant, only a 10 minutes walk away.

With the keyless entry, you will have a flexible check-in time, depending on the previous guests. Checking in after 3 pm and checking out by 10 am will work best when your visit is just before or just after other guests.
