If you need anything or have any questions during your stay, please contact us via phone call, text, or email
-This is our permanent home, so we ask that you take extra care during your stay. Keeping that in mind, there are a few things to note:
- Although we are close to many amenities, the area itself is not very walkable. We are approximately 20 minutes from town and would recommend that the renter bring a vehicle for convenience.
- Pet Friendly - We love furry friends! Your pets are welcome into our home, and there are 2 dog beds that you are welcome to use for them. Please, no pets on the furniture. The backyard can get a little muddy during the rainy season, so please clean their paws before coming inside. Before check out, please pick up the dog piles in the yard. Pet Fee is $15/pet per night and will be charged additionally after reservation is made.
We are a very pet friendly home as we have two dogs of our own and are happy to accommodate yours! We have two dog beds available for your use; one in the master bedroom and the other in the living area. Please do not allow your pets on the furniture (couches or beds) to reduce messes. When it rains, the backyard can get quite muddy, so please make sure paws are cleaned before entry into home. Please do not leave dogs unattended in the house as accidents and damage can happen when introducing them to new environments.
We have a large fully fenced in backyard and sliding doors leading directly out to the back (no dog door). In the backyard, we have two large trees which house a family of squirrels who often visit our fence line and yard. If your dogs have a sensitivity to critters, please be aware and conscious of this out of respect for our neighbors.
AREAS OF THE HOUSE
We have expensive cast iron pots and pans stored on the open shelving located in the kitchen (Green Le Creuset). You are welcome to use these, but please use the provided silicon and wood utensils while cooking and serving as any metal utensils will cause irreparable scratching.
After use, please hand wash all cookware, knives, coffee mugs and barware glasses with warm water, soap and sponge provided. Items may be dryed on provided drying rack located under the kitchen sink.
Any dishes, glasses, and silverware can all be cleaned in the dishwasher. Please run any dirty dishes in the dishwasher before checkout.
We do not have a garbage disposal!!! Any food waste, extra oils or fats incurred when cooking need to be thrown into the trash to ensure no plumbing issues during your stay.
The attached silver soap dispenser holds dish washing soap. It is ran through a long tube with the soap bottle inside of the cabinet. **If there has been a long period of time without use, the pump will need to be primed (pumped approximately 10 times) so that the soap can work its way up the tube.
Basic cleaning items, dish detergent and hand soap is stored under the sink.
Oven and Range are gas. Any additional appliances you may need (slow cooker, blender, food processor, toaster) are all located on the top shelf of the pantry for your use. Please locate a step stool and be careful when removing items from the top shelf!
Please do not overload the dishwasher, it may not complete the wash cycle if it is too heavy.
Any food and condiments left in the refrigerator are available for your use! The water/ice dispenser is filtered.

Security and Cameras
We recently have had an issue with vehicle theft (April), and in an effort to protect our guests, we have installed cameras around the perimeter of the building (exterior only) as well as changed all locks leading into the house. So far, this has been an isolated incident, however, we ask that all guests protect themselves and belongings as best as possible.
1. Keep all vehicles secured and locked - day and night.
2. Do not allow vehicles to idle (warm up) without being inside the vehicle or supervising it closely (this is how ours was taken).
3. Keep both doors locked (front and back sliders) while home and away. The garage will already be locked and we expect it to remain locked while we are away.
Checkout is at 11:00am.
Immediately after checkout we will have a cleaning crew arrive to prepare the house for the next guests. If you cannot leave by that time, please notify us (at the phone numbers provided on the front page), so that we can reschedule the cleaning crew to not hold up the process. Late checkouts may be subject to an additional charge.
