The cosy sunny room is in the last floor of a traditional Viennese house located at 15 minutes walking distance from the centre. The host provides information about the city (public transport, maps, leaflets, activities etc.) and is pleased to serve breakfast when agreed on from 8 to 9am for € 4,-/day. The flat is a friendly and quiet place and has two little terraces. The room (for one person only) is furnished with a comfortable bed (90x200 cm), table, chair, stool, lamps and a big cupboard.
The place is very close to the Botanical Garden and to Belvedere (Barock Castle of Prinz Eugen hosting one of the big Viennese galeries and its wide French park). Close to the lower part of Belvedere with access from Rennweg you'll find a small brewery (Salm Bräu). From this nice place its just a few steps along Rennweg towards city centre to the monument of the Russian soldier with its colourful fountain. Walking along the French Embassy and entering Resselpark and Karlsplatz you see at your left Karlskirche and Technical University. More ahead passing at Musikverein (one of the best Viennese concert halls) you enter Ringstraße stringing together i.e. State Opera, various museums, Parliament, Castle District, City Hall, Burgtheater, University and various parks.
We share bathroom (please use fairly for max. 30 min. in the morning), toilet, kitchen and a terrace (next to the kitchen). Laundry is possible at € 4,- upon request (no electric dryer).

I'm available via Airbnb-platform, SMS, mail or phone (when urgent). We can talk in English, in German (of course ;-), at reduced speed in Spanish, Italian and in French (very reduced speed). Usually I'm available on time. When I'm working (Tuesday to Friday from 9.30am to 16pm) it might happen that my response is delayed due to meetings with my boss, colleagues, business partners etc, the building (a lot of devices) etc.
In the flat another room (doublebed) can be rented out to Airbnb guests.
In Vienna shops (food, textiles etc.) usually are closed on Sundays and holidays. Pharmacies provide night service on a regional basis (information board in the window of each pharmacy). At Vienna Main Station and at big train stations some shops for food are open but their prices are higher than usually. Close to the flat a small shop (small choise of food) is open late and on Sundays. Bakeries are open on Sundays till noon. Restaurants, museums etc. are open on weekends but can have there individual closing days.

I'm an open minded Austrian who likes very much to travel und learn from people from all parts of the world. I used to travel mainly in Europe but in the last years I visited India, Thailand and Indonesia and enjoyed it quite a lot. Hope to go there again soon. Equally I like to stay in Vienna, the city in which I decided to live for some years now. To me it's still exciting to discover new things here and to give useful hints to my guests. Apart from that I like dancing, (almost) all kinds of music, meeting my family and friends, doing sports, enjoy nature and and and
