Location, Location, Location! A private lagoon wraps around the back of the villa giving you the best view you will ever find in a one bedroom villa on the island! Wildlife abounds and you can relax out back and watch it all. The beach is only 150 yards away so you can hear the ocean and smell it, but to see it will cost you double. All of the Resort pools are at your access as well as discounted golf and tennis. Renting through us gives you free shuttle service around the island, charging privileges and additional housecleaning. options. You'll find the villa comfortable, tastefully decorated and well appointed - your home away from home.
Most likely you were mailed a gate pass to expedite your registration. If not, do no worry about it. You will be registered by name as guests of the
Kiawah Island Resort at the main gate. There you will be directed to the
Reception Center where you will be given a welcome packet filled with
useful information, i.e., a map of the Island, an activities guide, bike
rental and transportation information, important phone numbers, etc. You will also be given the keys and directions to your home away from home,
1423 Courtside, Shipwatch Drive. The reception center is open 24-7. Check in is 4:30 p.m., check out is 10:30 a.m.

We strive to maintain a premium villa. Things happen however, that are out
of our control. If you notice something that needs immediate attention,
please contact us or the Resort. If you see something that will need
attention in the future, please be sure and let us know. Being off site owners, we depend on the observations of our guests to keep the villa in the best possible shape.
The phone # for the villa is (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). To activate the voicemail
function on the phone, request that the front desk activate it at the time you check in or anytime during your stay.
Internet connection directions can be found on the front of your welcome
packet. If you have any difficulties with the connection, try disconnecting
the router and the modem from the back, wait 10 seconds and reconnect them. If you still are having difficulties, contact the property manager listed in the guest book on the coffee table.
There are also various convenient “hot spots” around the island including
the Straw Market just down the street.
Linens and toiletries are included. Maid service is available at an additional cost through the Resort. However, fresh linens can be ordered from housekeeping at no additional cost. Sheets for the fold-out bed are in the bedroom closet. If you find that something has been overlooked in the cleaning, please contact housekeeping to correct it. We are charged $100/cleaning and we want it done right for our guests.
The villa phone is tied into the Resort’s phone system. Making a long distance call from the villa phone is EXPENSIVE.
The fire extinguisher is under the kitchen sink.
Garbage cans are located at the far end of the parking lot.
It is a pet free, smoke free villa. Grilling is also not permitted at any of the villas. There are grills at Night Heron Park.
The Island has two, well stocked but pricey grocery stores that carry
everything from fishing tackle to ice cream. We suggest stopping at the
Fresh fields Market just before entering the Island. If my job was rating grocery stores, I would put this one near the top. It has an impressive
deli including “meals to go,” and a limited but good bakery, (an essential
