I lived in Gastown for a year recently, but always found myself gravitating to Chinatown for foodie binges, drinks with friends, fitness classes, dental work, and groceries. When I needed a place to stay for a friend's wedding that was reasonably near the very central venue -- but that didn't cost a small fortune like all of the downtown hotels -- I knew to look in Chinatown. This condo is plenty spacious for 1-2 people, but you could make it work for up to 4. It's in a prime location if you love eating! Within a 10-min walk, you could hit Nicli, La Mezcaleria, Virtuous Pie, Juke Fried Chicken, Kissa Tanto, Bao Bei, Matchstick Coffee, Roost, Harvest Community Foods (ramen!), The Ramen Butcher, The Keefer Bar, St. Lawrence, Cuchillo, Ask For Luigi, The Mackenzie Room, Torafuku ... the list goes on. It's so close to public transit (steps away from a bus stop on Main St, a 10-min walk to the Stadium-Chinatown skytrain station, or a 20-min walk to the Waterfront skytrain station), and also to Mobi bike rental stands if you feel like touring the seawall, which is super easy to access from Chinatown. Check-in and communication were excellent, and Richard sent many personalized insider suggestions on where to go and what to do. Highly recommended! Thanks again for the lovely stay!
