This is a wonderfully located apartment in Prague 1. Short walk to the metro, and the Wencelas square - and trams right out front. Nice details such as double-glazed windows meant the place was very quiet despite its central location. Apartment will appeal particularly to those who appreciate design and uniqueness - it certainly has an "artsy" feel to it.
In fairness to the hosts - we were the first guests at this property. There were some issues, which I am sure the hosts will sort out.
Of note, this was my first AirBnB experience where the hosts were an apartment management company. Honestly . I did not like that aspect. One of the things I appreciate about AirBnB is that you are dealing with (usually) the property owner (or his friend, etc...). This felt very much like a hotel stay. There was a long list of rules. Check out time was 10:00 am, but you could arrange for 14:00 (for twenty euros), or later, for 10 euros more an hour or something like that. There was a fine for this, a fee for that... I am sure that these people have had bad experiences in their business that have led to every one of these rules - I don't fault that. But if I wanted to interact with a corporate, for the money I paid for this place, I would have booked a suite at a hotel. This is a personal opinion - and if these issues don't matter to you - then by all means this place is a great location, with lots of space. The people were also pleasant - no issues with that either. But it was clearly a "business" and felt like it.
