Hot, prepared breakfast can be served either in the stone home's dining room or at your host's nearby and restored log cabin residence, if you prefer to see and visit that unique space, as well (just say so!).
Your host lives just down the road and will gladly show you around the property (and/or guide a fishing or hunting expedition on the property, though guided tours and expeditions require extra communication, time, and planning (and sometimes cost)), so be sure to mention that request.
He can also briefly share the home's story and help to answer questions you may have about this one-of-a-kind home and property.
Your host is a true renaissance man! His unique skills include log cabin restoration, antique collection and restoration, and outdoorsing of all kinds.
Get in touch to discuss details of your stay and whether you would like to arrange a tour or outdoor experience on the property.
Property (pasture) is also home to cattle, so please be aware of that if/as you explore.
Please just be respectful of this one of a kind historic property, its antiques and contents.
Please close all gates behind you if you explore through pastures. This ensures cattle stay where they're expected.
Please also note that the property and structures are old and that this is an active farm with livestock, so if you choose to explore, contact Terry, and explore very carefully and only as recommended.
Please leave the third floor and basement of the house private.
