Our Standard Room in the new Kaname Inn Tatemachi is a minimal, but comfortable space for two. We provide you with all the necessary creature comforts, including two semi-double Simmons mattresses, ice box, television, and electric kettle. In Kanazawa Music Bar on the first floor enjoy seasonal dishes made from local ingredients and a variety of drinks to the sound of vintage vinyl through our high-quality sound system.
Check In / Out
Check-in time is after 3 p.m. Japan Standard Time (JST) and check-out time is 11 a.m. JST. Please request late check-outs and early check-ins in advance for approval. We will also gladly hold your luggage for you at the front desk prior to check-in or after check-out if you require.
This is a non-smoking hotel; however, you are welcome to smoke on the designated smoking areas. Please ask us.
Unlike in many Japanese hotels, you may wear your shoes and slippers inside the room.
We provide free pocket wi-fi for each room. There is no limit on data usage.
A damage deposit of 40,000 JPY is required through Airbnb, and as per Airbnb’s rules, the guest's credit card is authorized for the amount of the deposit 24 hours before check-in and the authorization is released 48 hours after the check-out date if the host does not make a claim and provided the following provisions are met:
a) No damage is done to the unit or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
b) No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay.
c) All keys are to be turned in to the front desk.
d) All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
e) No linens are lost or damaged.
Payment is done through Airbnb.
Rates are subject to change without notice.
50% refund up to seven (7) days prior to arrival, excepting fees.
The maximum number of guests is limited to three (3) adults, or two (2) adults and (2) children.
Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check-in.
Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.
Severe Weather Policy
No refunds will be given in the event of a typhoon or severe storm.
Kaname Inn Tatemachi is 10 minutes by bus from Kanazawa Station, 2 minutes from the Katamachi bus stop, and 3 minutes from the Korinbo bus stop.

The linens of our comfortable semi-double Japanese beds are professionally laundered for each guest. The bathroom has a a deep soaking Japanese bath with a hot water system and an automatic toilet with heated seats and a bidet. We have all the basics covered from shampoo, conditioner and body soap. All of our towels are professionally laundered before and after each guest. We also have fully automatic washer for your laundry needs.
The room comes with fast wi-fi. We also offer free portable wi-fi as well. Both have unlimited data usage.
