Beautifully lit and decorated private room in 2/1 apartment in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The apartment is my home and work space I share with Isaac, my tuxedo cat. Continental breakfast is included, as well as access to a media cart (HD TV, Blu-ray player, Apple TV) that includes memberships to Netflix, HBO, Hulu, and an extensive and eclectic film collection. Only 30 mins away from Manhattan (Lower East Side), and a ~2 minute walk to the train (URL HIDDEN) doesn't get more comfortable than that!
The guest(s) will be staying in a sun lit private room with a closet, record player and collection of records. The bathroom is shared between the host and guest(s), who will have shelf space there and are also welcomed to use the kitchen and dinning table. Washer and dryer are also available in the building.
Cat allergic/phobic people should reconsider.
And homo allergic/phobic people as well.
No cigarette smoking allowed inside.
I'll be happy to talk to you about what the neighborhood and NYC have to offer, you show maps and curated tour lists. I work at an art gallery and a bookstore besides my art practice, so my time is limited, but I'm also willing to arrange guided tours on my days off. They would be a full day, and could include tours/lectures of the Met, Met Breuer, MoMA, and Whitney Museums (with lower cost access included), the Chelsea Gallery district, Midtown/Upper East Side/Central Park (Manhattan) and/or Brooklyn/Downtown Manhattan, for $350/day—no tip necessary. I am educated in art history and speak Spanish, English, and German fluently (though my German is a bit rusty); I may not be a native New Yorker, but I sure know the city very well!
