Maria is a nice and kind girl but there were a lot of miscommunication with her.
Basically we had an issue staying at her place. She insisted for us to use everything, so we figured the mugs in the cupboard and all we could use. Also, I was staying here with a friend, and my friend insisted to eat the choc in the fridge (even when i said no..) as she said the host has said so.. but eventually Maria was not happy with it. I guess things like this are bound to occur if there are no clear instructions from the (URL HIDDEN) the first place the concept of Airbnb is 'home' away from home, so if anything in the house that you would not like the future guests to use, a simple sticky note on the fridge and cupboard would solve the problem right away.
Sorry again with the broken mug, as i said my friend did not even tell me about the mug that she broke (which is still bugging me..)..
Maria is very particular about the cleanliness, we were staying there not even a full day yet, and she already told us about the hairs laying on the toilet floors etc. Of course we were travelling, we did not have time to check the cleanliness especially the very tiny details of hairs on the floor at all time. and personally for me this was not my first experience of Airbnb, i have travelled all over the world using Airbnb and my practise is that i clean the house as best as possible during the check out. So if you are put off by constant cleanliness that you need to keep, please find a different place to stay.
The place is well connected with the busses to the main Cornavin train station which is really good.
I would recommend the place with a good location, and if you are travelling alone. you know when you have friends/family with you, it's quite difficult to control and meet the host's expectations.
Definitely get the communications through properly before doing anything.
