24-foot diameter Yurt, magnificent deck view, traditional Central Asian tapestries and handcrafted furniture set the scene for an unforgettable experience in Abiquiu, New Mexico. Only 50 steps from the yurt's front door, we also include the Annex - a kitchen, bathroom, indoor sitting space and covered porch. The yurt sleeps 4-5 people, and the Annex sleeps up to 2.
The Yurt and Annex provide a tranquil and quiet respite from just about anywhere! We are only 1 mile from Highway 84, but secluded on a peaceful hillside with no neighbors. Please note that the Yurt and Annex (i.e. bathroom!) are located about 50 steps away from each other.
The Yurt is quite large at 24 feet in diameter, and can comfortably host a family or group. The yurt deck is a great place to watch sunset/sunrise, do yoga, have a cup of coffee or enjoy a meal. The Annex can provide a cool, comfortable place to unwind after a long day of exploring.

We are available as needed, but also like to give our guests their privacy. We do offer guided hiking and kayak tours for reasonable prices. Please don't hesitate to ask!
Please note that the kitchen has a small fridge, with three gas burners and a toaster oven. There is no oven. We use only natural cleaner for floors and surfaces. Fresh, natural soap is provided for dishes and hands. For food, Bode's General Store is about 1.5 miles away. They have a great food selection and a deli. There is also a pizza place, Mamacita's, that offers take-out. For something more local & authentic, we recommend the short drive up to El Rito to check out the sweet little restaurant El Farolito that specializes in authentic New Mexican cuisine.
