- After living in Turkey for two years, I prefer guests to remove shoes in house for health reasons and to protect floors.
I have collected things from different places I have traveled and look forward to enjoying them with other people. I only ask that you treat my home and belongings with care and respect as if it were your own.
If you break or damage something, please let me know so I can estimate the cost.
I have a queen-size inflatable mattress and bedding available for your use in the room though it could be rather tight this way. Even though it says suitable for 0-2 year olds, please be aware that my home is not child-proofed. If your child is mobile, you will need to supervise them closely!!
You may use my kitchen and utensils. I will provide coffee, tea, toast, butter and jam for breakfast. You will need to provide other food items which you may keep in the refrigerator. Please leave the kitchen the way or better than the way you found it each time you use it.
Although, rules note, "No parties or events", there may be some exceptions if discussed with Sheryl ahead of time.

I am a 60 year old librarian/teacher, mother of 3 grown children. I am back living in the U.S. after spending 2 years teaching in Istanbul, Turkey. I love traveling, reading, meeting new people and discovering new places. I have been a home owner for over 25 years and know what it takes to keep a home nice therefore I always try to leave any place I stay as good or better than the way I find it.
