An 18th. century barn converted to a modern, comfortable living space in a quiet yard, close to the lively quay. Wells has a fleet of fishing boats and the famous Albatros Dutch sailing ship, now a bar/restaurant in the harbour. The town is in the centre of the beautiful and wild North Norfolk coast, a great base for walking, wildlife, birdwatching, canoeing, cycling, golf, picnics or lazy days on the beach, which is one of the best in the UK.
We converted the barn in 2009 and were short-listed for Master builder of the Year Award. It is light and airy with a large main kitchen/lounge/dining area, there is a bridge over this to a quiet desk space and sofa. The interior is lit by a large sky-light and plenty of windows. A wood-burning stove makes it extra cosy in the winter though there is full central heating.
Outside is a small private yard, table, chairs, wood-store and barbecue.

If you need help we can usually be reached by phone or text. We live next door at No. 4, available when needed but will not bother you if you want a quiet time.
It's not a bad idea to be aware of the tides. Tide tables are with the welcome letter, please leave them for the next guests to use.
