A delightfully comfortable self contained private annexe. It is light, bright and decorated in a simple fresh style yet retaining the character of the cottage. It has been refurbished to a high standard and is non smoking accommodation for the comfort of our guests.

Box Tree Cottage is a delightfully comfortable private annexe suitable for one or two adults. It is decorated in a simple fresh style with every consideration for your comfort yet retaining the character of the cottage. It is self contained and entirely private adjacent to the owners house. The annexe is open plan, light, bright and airy as with windows at the front and back.
The inviting living room is well furnished with a comfortable sofa. There is a flat screen television with freeview, DVD and WiFi for your convenience.
The kitchenette has a dining table with two chairs There is a combination grill, microwave and oven with an electric two ring ceramic hob. You will find a good size fridge, kettle and toaster and all crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment and utensils of good quality. A welcome basket provides a selection of teas, coffee, milk, sugar and biscuits and a few other treats.
Upstairs the galleried bedroom has a delightful oak double bedstead with luxury cotton bedding which leads onto a tastefully appointed en-suite shower room. All the bed linen, duvets and pillows provided are the specialist anti allergy range from John Lewis along with high quality towels. There is a good sized chest of drawers which allows for generous storage and ample hanging space.
On arrival you will find a designated safe parking area on the drive at the front of the cottage with easy access to your private entrance. A key safe allows you to arrive at your convenience.
We may meet on the drive there but be assured that you will be left quietly to enjoy your time away.
At the end of the living room you will find a french door opening onto a secluded courtyard with patio table and two chairs which catches the morning sun and is a pleasant spot for breakfast.

The annexe is adjacent to my home and I have my entrance on the opposite side and at the back of the cottage .
There are full instructions on how to use all the electrical items in the annexe, but saying that, please do not hesitate to ask, I am there to help out if needed. Guests will be given my numbers or can just knock on my door.
I am happy to give personal recommendations of restaurants, cafes or places to visit or just offer .
Both floors have electric radiators and are on preset timers to provide warmth in morning and evening and if needed can provide a boost of extra warmth. The annexe is cosy and warm in the evenings from the very efficient and effective heating.
Downstairs you will find the 24" HD LED TV with freeview and integral DVD, a small selection of games and books, local maps and activity guide.
Upstairs, both bedside tables have reading lights as well as relaxing wall lights on dimmer switches, a small travel clock and radio. In the en-suite shower room there is a razor socket, heated towel rail and mira electric sport shower.
An iron and board is available on request and there are full instructions on how to use the oven and other electrical items in the annexe, such as the television, shower and electric radiators.
The friendly Everton village store is just at the end of the lane offering a wide range of groceries, fresh bread, fruit and vegetables and an excellent selection of wines, beers and spirits. The Post Office counter provides easy banking facilities.
At the other end of the lane, barely a a five minute walk is The Crown Pub serving lunch and dinner to a very high standard.

My favourite walk is along the coast at Keyhaven and the beautiful natural harbour at Bucklers Hard.
I live adjacent to the annexe and there if needed to help in any way but please be assured that you will be left quietly to enjoy your stay.
My family too are there to provide a comfortable and relaxing time for our guests. If any translation is needed, my daughter is a language student and happy to help with french, italian and german (with a very small amount of spanish).
