Esther lives in a nice shared flat in Stoke Newington, which is a vibrant district in the north of London. Her home is close to Church Street, which is worth discovering as you can find plenty of comfy cafés, lively pubs and artsy bric-a-brac shops there.
Although there's no tube station nearby, you can quickly go to the city centre by bus. To my mind, this is the better option anyway as you've got a great view on London from the doubledecker busses and it's definitely cheaper than the tube.
Although Esther herself was not at home during my stay, communication was well. She was available and helpful all the time. Also, her flatmate helped out. She welcomed me at the house and helped me settling in.
I can recommend staying at Esther's place.
You should know, though, that you probably will meet her (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) only. I think Esther is a very nice girl, so, I'd say this is a bit of a shame.
