Both the hostess and the second permanent resident (both women, one American/Dutch, the other Dutch) are available to provide tips on where to go, how to get there, etiquette, etc. The hostess works from home and will sometimes request privacy in the living room. From time to time the hostess's son will also stay in the apartment; he is helpful and full of information on Lebanese politics and nightlife.
There are two cats in the apartment, Antar and Teo. Antar is very calm and quiet, Antar tends to demand a lot of love.
