Welcome to Mountain Moon Meadows, a two-bedroom ranch tucked into Fort Valley, surrounded by open pastures and butting up against the Massanutten Mountains. Inside, a bright living room, a sunroom facing the mountains, and a library with a writing desk make it easy to settle in. The home sleeps four and is perfectly designed for couples, small groups, and small families to enjoy nearby hiking, horseback riding, and exploring the best of Fort Valley and the Shenandoah Valley.

The view follows you inside through large windows, while hardwood floors, rustic touches, and farm-inspired art make it easy to feel at home. For a couple, it’s a welcoming base for days spent exploring Fort Valley and evenings spent together. For a small group, the living room and sunroom offer plenty of space to enjoy each other’s company, while two king bedrooms give everyone a place to unwind at the end of the day.

Come back from a day out and sink into the deep sectional, where windows on two sides frame the pasture and a 65-inch smart TV is ready for a movie. The kitchen has a range, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and cookware, while the dining table beneath its stained-glass pendant gives you a place to linger over a meal.

The two bedrooms have distinct moods. The primary suite pairs a red-toned quilt with blue curtains for a subtle Americana feel and has a spacious attached bathroom with a tub and separate shower. In the second bedroom, earthy brown bedding and green curtains echo the woods and pastures outside. A hallway bathroom with a tub and shower combination serves the second bedroom and guests.

When you need to open your laptop, the library has an antique writing desk by a window looking out to the Massanutten ridge, with room to spread out before you rejoin everyone in the living room.

If the day turns cool, the sunroom offers the same outlook, with a second table for board games, puzzles, or dinner. On some mornings, mist settles over the pasture before the sun clears the ridge. Keep an eye on the feeders for hummingbirds and goldfinches; after dark, gather around the propane fire table or linger over dinner from the grill. Roads are paved all the way to the property. Standard 2WD is fine most of the year; during snow or ice, AWD or 4WD is recommended and occasionally required, and we’ll share access guidance ahead of any winter storm. The driveway accommodates up to three vehicles.

High-speed WiFi supports streaming, remote work, and video calls. Cell service can be limited in rural areas, but WiFi calling keeps you connected. The home is equipped with smart TVs, and while standard cable is not available, guests are welcome to log into their own streaming accounts.
