Welcome to the real Swedish summer. Being near the sea and in nature is what Sweden is really all about, and at this cabin you'll have it at your fingertips.
It's a rustic, 1970s-style place. Cozy and clean, and very relaxing. Several sofas inside, as well as two twin beds (one extra long, if you are tall this is great!) and a few more mattresses can be put on the floor for extra sleeping space. Clean duvets, pillows and towels provided.
The kitchen has cold running water (no water heater) and a wood-burning stove. There is also an electric stove with two burners. Fully stocked kitchen- you are free to use any spices, oils, etc. You'll find a few cold beers in the fridge to welcome you.
There is a flushless toilet inside, which I'll explain how to use. It's very simple and clean.
No shower, but you will be provided with a bar of 'Saltsjötvål'. This is a great soap that floats in seawater and is all-natural. We bathe each morning in the sea (which is not salty)... truly the best way to wake up. It's only 5 minutes walk from the house.
Bikes are also provided, and we can take you out in our little boat if you arrange it in advance!
We live just up the hill, so if you need anything or just want to chat, we're accessible.
I am Jesper, born in Stockholm, now living permanently in the archipelago. In winter I often move south with my family. The winter of 2012/13 we live in Barcelonetta.
