However I need to tell my side of the story. >>> ABOUT ASKING FOR PASSPORT, I'm surprised to read this as I clearly mentioned it in my listing ("Other things to note") and make sure that all my guests are aware of it. Moreover, I just kindly asked you to write down your passport information (did not keep your passport or scan it) and explained clearly that I need your information to register foreigners with Danang Public Security as temporary residents. Although each country has its own regulations and as a traveller one should be respectful towards local regulations , providing passport is a common practice which no guests has ever complained before. >>>ABOUT SECURITY CAMERAS, like mentioned above, I already indicated its presence in my listing (seems you DID NOT EVER READ my house rules!?) and no one has ever said anything negative about them: One faces the front street, one faces the stairway and the other is in the living area, pointing to the garage+ the main door. From guest's perspective I totally understand guests wouldn't like seeing a Security camera, at the same time cameras make them feel more secure. Also, I must add, my cameras aren't at all hidden, and they are not in personal area. I of course have no desire to spy on guests. They are a "trust issue", a protection hosts have against theft or more as an insurance policy, in case something could go wrong, relating to Airbnb or otherwise. >>> ABOUT THE DOORS +AIRCON, my doors are actually NOT difficult to lock, and I did not ever say so, I just showed you the trick to lock it. Besides, when stopping by the house to check the aircon after informed, I accidentally found out Aircons in 2 bedrooms + the fans were left ON when not in use. You left the front door + balcony door open that means that my home was open/vulnerable to theft for at least 10 hours until you returned at night. I even didn't mention the issue in my review for you since you apologized and everything went smoothly in the end so I let this one go. >>>ABOUT Cleanliness, I apologize for keeping your group wait for about 15 minutes or so, I didn't have my cleaning lady on that day so it ended up a little bit late than expected. I apologized a few time in person and thought you could tolerate the issue. This is the first time I got a negative review about cleanliness ever since I started my listing, I make sure this doesn’t happen again.
