Ms. Vivian was a wonderful elderly woman who used to rent unit #1 in this building. She had many kitties. She had to move to an assisted living facility a while back and she could not take her fur babies with her.
So, my current tenants and I take care of them as much as they need. They are all spayed or neutered, and flea treated and collared. We feed and water them occasionally when they're not out hunting and keeping the property and neighborhood free of mice and vermin. They like to hang out on, and around, the stoop in front of unit #1, getting sun and watching life go by. They are more scared of you than you are of them.
This was their home and territory long before I bought the building, I have a real soft spot for animals, and they really just like hanging out and people watching. They are absolutely harmless and perfectly safe. Most won't let you get within 5 feet of them. Some are overtly friendly and might try to make friends and get belly rub from you. Most will just scatter on your approach.
The point is, if several "semi-wild" neighborhood kitties looking at you and/or basically being cats, might bother you or your travelling companion(s), then this may not be the best Airbnb choice for you. Thanks! CJ
