This apartment could not be better situated - numerous cafés, restaurants, boutique stores, delis, supermarkets, convenience stores and even gyms are right on your doorstep.
The apartment is beautifully and stylishly furnished with just a hint of playfulness and includes a number of items that we have picked up around the world during our travels. It is located on the first floor overlooking a courtyard in a secured apartment complex that is locked and closed to public traffic every night, making it surprisingly quiet. This one-bedroom apartment has several large windows, making it brightly lit and bathed in natural light every day. The apartment, with its polished timber floors, has been decorated with style and flair, but with the utmost in convenience and comfort in mind.

Potts Point is a great cosmopolitan suburb and historically, it has been renowned for its bohemian and creative environment as well as boasting the highest concentration of art deco architecture in Australia. No mention of Potts Point ever fails to include the wonderful variety of restaurants, cafés and bars – some of Sydney’s best – all within walking distance of our apartment.
Our apartment is located directly opposite the landmark El Alamein Fountain (see photos) and Fitzroy Gardens, which hosts an excellent Farmers’ Market on Saturdays. Around the corner sits the infamous and popular Kings Cross strip, with its bright lights and busy nightspots.
Also within walking distance of our apartment are a number of landmarks and must-see tourist sites, including the Royal Botanic Gardens, Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour, Circular Quay and the Art Gallery of NSW. The Central Business District, Oxford Street, Paddington, Surry Hills and other shopping sites are a short walk away, as are the beautiful parks of Elizabeth Bay and Rushcutters Bay. Beaches, including the world-renowned Bondi Beach, are just a short drive or bus ride away. A tourist information booth with all the information you need is located just one minute away from our doorstep.
To get around, the Kings Cross train station is only a three-minute walk away, as are a number of bus stops. Although we’re pretty certain you won’t need a car in this neighbourhood, if you do want to venture further out, a number of GoGet share cars are right outside our door and along the side streets. They often work out cheaper than car rental places and even accept drivers with foreign licenses.
We will try our best to be flexible if you require an early arrival or a late checkout, depending on whether we have guests arriving before or after you – just ask! Please note we have a minimum 3-night stay policy.
Hello! I'm Chris. My partner Brett and I produce and manage a circus/cabaret/variety show and have travelled extensively with it over the last ten years. Our work often takes us to some wonderful locations around the world, and we have toured throughout much of Europe and North America. Brett grew up in a sleepy idyllic town on the beach called Moonta in South Australia, and I am originally from beautiful Vancouver, Canada.
We call Australia home, although we don't often get to spend as much time there as we would like, because of work. We now live between Sydney, Melbourne and London. We have been lucky enough to get to present the show over several years in Sydney and fell in love with the Potts Point area, which is why we jumped when the opportunity to purchase this apartment came up. We also recently purchased an iconic property in the beautiful beach town of Brunswick Heads, New South Wales.
We love travelling and after having stayed in many hotel rooms and apartments over the years, we definitely know what we look for when staying away from home, and we have tried our best to make our homes as comfortable, well-stocked and convenient for guests as possible. We look forward to hearing from you!
