Experience life in the NYC suburbs. Our Maplewood home is spacious, comfortable and easy to enjoy. Take advantage of our newly remodeled kitchen, deck with BBQ, piano, wine refrigerator and third floor rec room with large tv, sectional couch, sofa bed, books, games and puzzles. We are a short walk to the Maplewood Village, and the train to NYC. Nearby you'll find great restaurants, parks and playgrounds, and a 2,000 acre nature reserve. Plenty of parking on site.
There are four bathrooms in total. The main floor and third floor bathrooms are half baths. The bathrooms on the second floor are full baths, one has a shower, and one has a tub.
Bedrooms one and two have queen sized beds. Bedroom three has two twin beds. However, the second twin bed is a trundle bed, which is lower, on rollers, and is stored underneath the first one. If you plan to use the trundle bed, you will need to roll it out. The pull out sofa bed on the third floor is high-end, american made, and has no cross bar. We purchased this knowing our parents would need a comfortable place to sleep when they visited.
Please note we don't have central air conditioning. Instead we have several window air conditioning units and ceiling fans. If you still have questions about our home, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
The entire home, with the exception of the trampoline, owners' closets and detached garage.
Very fast WIFI and cable TV services are provided.
Guest access to trampoline is strictly prohibited. Guest agrees to supervise any children and prevent use of the trampoline. Guest assumes full responsibility for any damages resulting from unauthorized use of trampoline by anyone during Guest's stay. Guest agrees to indemnify host for any damages, losses or injuries relating to such unauthorized use of trampoline.
Hello, I live in a beautiful home just outside of NYC with my husband, two children, and a dog. I love the small village of Maplewood, and it's proximity to both NYC and the Jersey shore. Check out Maplewood while living in our home, and see for yourself.
