Redlands Cottage is ideal for visitors to Otley and the surrounding area.
Redlands Cottage has a dining kitchen, large living room with a wood burner, three bedrooms, a bathroom, with a bath, and a shower room off the main bedroom. Redlands Cottage was built in the early 1900s to house a gardener (nearby houses were developed with a large communal garden needing full time attention). There are some original period features, the ceilings are high, the rooms are large compared to modern homes, the stairs are a little steep. The private patio (with a small barbeque) is accessed via the French doors in the main room. It is possible to park in the road next to the house. Some guests prefer to park in a larger space about 50 metres away. There is a radio plus books and magazines at the house. There is no television. The WiFi connection is strong and it is possible to stream or download programmes.
You will have access to the whole house and garden. Some of the garden is gravelled with pots and planters and some is decked.
When you arrived tea, coffee, milk and sugar (and cake) will be available for you. There will also be some basic groceries. Help yourself. If you finish something we would be grateful if you would replace it. During the summer there will be herbs and possibly some vegetables in the garden. Again, help yourself.
No guests except those who have been confirmed with us.
Please do not dry your washing on the radiators
Please treat (and leave) our house as you would like yours to be treated (and left)
Christine lives nearby and will be available if needed
