There is a 300.00 dollar deposit which will be returned as long as there is no damage and you leave the place as clean as you received it. We also charge a 100.00 cleaning fee. The maid service charges 25.00 for doing dishes and another 25.00 dollars if she has to hall your trash to the local dump. So please take your trash and do your dishes. The City provides local convenient trash dumping stations at no charge.
Public Trash Sites (Clean Bear)
The City maintains two public trash sites for trash and recyclable disposal to serve both residents and visitors.
Fire House #2 (across from the Civic Center on Big Bear Blvd.)
Big Bear Disposal, 41974 Garstin Road
In addition, cardboard waste is accepted at our Bartlett Road site (next to the Big Bear Chamber of Commerce)
- Clean up after your pet please! There will be a 25.00 per pet fee. NO Cats please
- Please set all thermostats to 55 when you leave
- Turn main water on under the kitchen sink when you arrive and turn off when you leave
- Must wash all dishes or you will be charged a $25.00 fee
- Must take all trash with you or be charged a $25.00 fee
- Be respectful of neighbors and no loud music after 10:30pm. Everything echoes in the mountains

Nice retired man who was a studio electrician. I live with my girlfriend, whom is local nurse in Big Bear. We love Big Bear and hope our guest will respect our beautiful mountain community. You are totally closer to God in the Bear!
