This gorgeous and charming mountain retreat is comfortable and welcoming, close to everything yet also in a beautiful mountain setting. Fifteen minutes from downtown Asheville, it is fully furnished and is a place the whole family will enjoy. Close to Montreat, lakes, hiking trails, fishing, playgrounds, biking, paddle boat rental, swans, and more. You really can have it all! Start a new tradition in quaint Black Mt. and fall in love with a place you will want to come back to year after year!
We prefer to have shoes taken off in the house. Do what makes you comfortable, but we do request it for overall cleanliness, dust and dirt.
There is an additional charge of $20 per pet per night. We will request that once you leave through AirBNB, along with any additional charges for cleaning or damages if necessary. If you are staying longer than a week, we can talk about a discount on that daily charge. No pets on furniture, and please clean their paws if it's muddy. Also please clean up after your dog around yard for the next people. Please dispose of dog waste little bags into big bags in trash bins at road or they won't be picked up.
All trash must be placed in large bags in trash bins or it won't be picked up.
No wild or big parties, but family events and small gatherings are fine. Thank you!
We love AirBNB and how it brings the world together! Having both travelled quite a bit, from Australia to Europe, and we can really appreciate that there are times for adventure and times to just relax in a comfortable place.
We are recently married, and are so happy to have found our life's companion, whether traveling or at home. Our goal with hosting is to make our wooded retreat as comfortable and welcoming as possible, for spending a full day in, or for just relaxing at the end of a day's events. It is full of games, books, and tvs, comfy sofas and beds and even a hammock, to just relax and enjoy!
Both having backgrounds in renovating and improving real estate, we naturally want to help things work properly from a functional standpoint, and to be enjoyable aesthetically. Robert has been in Asheville about 15 years; he is still showing Laura new places, and we continue to discover together. Plus, there are new businesses opening up all around the Asheville area all the time, so it is an ongoing adventure here! We hope to share that with you!!
Our dog, Gabriel, is an important part of our adventures, as he loves people and dogs SO much that he inspires US!! You may get to meet him briefly as we welcome you to our home.
We look forward to having you stay with us! Have a wonderful day!
