The apartment is quite nice, especially considering the price. However, we had some issues with staying at Sandra's place. The main issue was that she was quite difficult to reach through airb&b. I texted her in the morning that we were going to arrive by 7 pm, and I didn't receive any message even when I was already in the Treviso airport, which was at 5:30 pm. Anyway, after I texted hed through (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), I got a rather quick response, although, to be honest, by that time I was quite worried that I might have to look for another place to stay in Venice. When we arrived to the apartment as planned, I tried to text her again, but there was no response. We waited near the building for about 10 minutes, and then tried to call Sandra. She responded only to the third or fourth call and said she was going to be 20 minutes late. Anyway, when we finally met her, she appeared to be a rather nice young woman, and kindly showed us the apartment. I have nothing bad to say about Sandra as a person but if you choose to stay here, do not repeat my mistakes, and try to contact her at least one or two days before your arrival.
Overall, the apartment was quite nice. The location was great for exploring Venice. However, the noises from a restaurant downstairs may disturb your sleep at night. Despite all of the minor troubles we faced, I would still recommend Sandra's place, as it was great for its price, especially considering the general tendency on apartment rents' pricing in Venice.
