What could be better after a long day of wine tasting than coming home to Re-Wined Bungalow? Situated on a quiet street lined with historic bungalows, Re-Wined is a 10 min walk to Whitman College and 15 min walk to downtown Walla Walla. Charming details include luxury bedding, hard wood floors, covered back porch and yard, front porch coffee nook, & a fully equipped kitchen. The owner works for a local winery and has a rich background in hospitality. A bottle of local wine is complimentary!
Re-Wined Bungalow is a recent purchase and I have been in a flurry of activity upgrading and putting the finishing touches in place to be ready for my awesome Airbnb guests. Which means, that when you arrive, things could look a little different (always better!) than what you see in the photos. I continue to update photos as the home evolves. And to get a sense of our quality and style, please see our Alley Cat listing in Enterprise, Oregon and look over our stellar reviews!
Re-Wined is a cozy little Arts & Crafts bungalow that boasts many lovely details such as quality original built-ins, leaded glass windows, hardwood floors, high ceilings, pedestal bathroom sink, subway tiled shower, a built in window seat and a fully equipped foodie lover's kitchen. I provide quality Egyptian bath towels, exclusive spa quality bedding along with down pillows/plush microfiber blankets and other quality details such as providing you with our handmade soaps! The eclectic furnishings encompass many one of a kind, original pieces, antiques, vintage & whimsical pieces.
The outdoor spaces consist of an old fashioned covered front porch ( a great place to relax dawn to dusk) and out the back door you will find a covered deck along with a fenced backyard--perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine or barbecuing on warm evenings. The front porch and front entrance are completely your own during your stay. The back deck, back yard, and back entrance are shared space with me, the owner. I live in an apartment in the basement and during your stay, I will only be coming through the back porch to access the basement apartment via a separate door, so that area is still yours to enjoy.
The entire space is on one level with the bathroom conveniently located between the two bedrooms. The large dining room is great for entertaining and the large kitchen has lots of counter space and cupboards. You will find the kitchen to be fully equipped--including staples such as flour, sugar and coffee, as well as a complimentary bottle of local Walla Walla wine! The focal point in the living room is a beautiful brick fireplace with built in surrounding book shelves (sorry, fires are not allowed as the chimney needs some masonry work).
We are always making upgrades and always on the hunt for the next great piece of vintage furniture or original piece of artwork. Rest assured, Re-Wined Bungalow will definitely be original, fun, funky and special!
Guests have access to the entire first level of the home as well as the front porch, covered back porch (shared), and backyard (shared). There is no access to a washer and dryer. Three cars can be parked end-to-end in the long drive way.

Having been in the hospitality business before joining the wine industry, I understand the need for privacy. I am happy to interact as little or as much as you like.
Homes in our neighborhood are very close to each other so it is important to respect privacy and noise levels. This home is not suitable for large parties or noisy gatherings.
Re-Wined is family friendly and we are open to a well behaved pet by request. Due to allergy sensitivities, we charge an extra $20 per pet for additional cleaning. If you would like to bring your dog or cat please inquire and tell us more about your pet.
Everyone knows having too many rules is a real downer and our goal is for you to have fun, laugh lots, and take it EASY! We expect you to treat Re-Wined as you would your own home. About the only two absolute rules are no smoking on the premises/home and no parties/loud noise after 9 PM.
I'm a Pacific Northwest native and I love everything about this corner of the nation! I'm passionate about living life well and that includes making great wine, enjoying fine food, and creating beautiful spaces. After working for six years in the DC political scene, I decided to pursue a career of passion -- you guessed it -- WINE. So I returned to the PNW, got my degree in viticulture and enology, and now I work at a world class winery in Walla Walla. As a first time home owner, I'm trying to make my home as cozy and welcoming as possible. I hope you love the original charm of my 1915 bungalow as much as I do!
