The Arroyo House Inn at El Rancho Merlita offers accommodations in the Merle Norman estate’s original guest house here in Tucson. The guest house was carefully renovated with exquisite detail in keeping with its original purpose. Three guest rooms and one suite offer a variety of unique lodging options; from the hand-painted tiles, to the colorful fabrics, original western art, and warm ambiance.
“Arroyo Bonito” is nestled along a creek bed known as an “arroyo.” This creek bed is dry most of the year, but a cool breeze usually flows down it and native animals use it as a transportation route and safe haven. As the largest and most luxurious space in the Arroyo House Inn, this room comfortably offers a king-sized four-poster bed against a solid rock tiled wall facing a fireplace. The bathroom features two sinks, a walk-in shower, and a gorgeous stand-alone copper soaking tub. Enjoy a drink on your private patio with views of the Catalina Mountains. As the birds sing, your hot bath fills.
You will find all the modern amenities one could hope for: flat-screen television with many satellite channels including music, as well as seven HBO channels, DVD player, mini-refrigerator and personal safe.

I am born and raised in Tucson. I have traveled all around the world and for me Tucson is the most beautiful place of all! I also really like living in the EU, where I can get around by train and be in so many different countries so quickly. I love healthy food and my garden is the light of my life. My favorite way that I have used AirBnB is as a way to find "staycations." I am now greatly enjoying hosting because hospitality is fun for me. My life motto is "everything I have ever wanted is here now."
