The Independence Monument area and BKK1 has been the foreigner’s quarter since the 80s. its been home to NGOs, expats and tourists, and is now booming with new restaurants, bars and hotels. Hotels in the area are mid-range and upscale boutique places. Restaurants are scattered with new ones including intl brands like Burger King, Domino’s, KFC. Most of the bars and clubs in the area are at the north end along Streets 278,282, Norodom Blvd on Streets , and enclave of Bassac Lane.
We have 24 hours security in our apartment.
The rate includes electricity but we strictly implement the rule of turning off the AC and checking if all faucets are closed policy. Electricity is very expensive in Phnom Penh and we only allow up to 15 kwph consumption per day and will charge $0.25/kwph for guests consuming more electricity. The 15kwph consumption is enough to run 2 ACs during the evening and 1 AC during daytime.

Hi, I'm from the Philippines living and working currently in Phnom Penh. I love this city because it allows me to work hard and at the same time spend a lot of quality time doing the things I love such as cycling and exploring different places, food and culture with my family. Cambodia is the best place for people who would love to slow down, and enjoy the simple pleasures that life can bring.
