Space, the flat is larger than most at 45sq m. Position, right on the slopes, ski in ski out. Close to all amenities including French Ski School and tourist office, bars, restaurants and shops.
Well furnished with comfortable beds and a sofa and a kitchen and big dining table in a separate room.
Good quality fittings and equipment which work including Wifi, flat screen TV, washing machine and the best equipped kitchen of any flat in Val Thorens.
A full bath and shower with unlimited hot water.
The flat is well laid out and has the unique feature of a sun room with great views of the glacier. The sun room is big enough for a dining table seats 8 and a kitchen which is big enough to cook a proper meal in. There is a main room with sofa etc and in a dead space alcove a proper double bed which is a real boon after a tiring day skiing. There is a completely separate room with four bunk beds which are real single beds not straight jacket small and have new mattresses.
In the bathroom which has a seperate toilet next door you will find an electric shower so once the small hot water tank runs out you can still have as many showers a s you want when you want. There is even a washing machine which avoids trips to the laundromat which is not very nice or the laundry which is expensive.
The kitchen is the best equipped I have ever seen in a holiday home as I love to cook.
The wifi is free and pretty reliable and fast.
I have just had a new carpet laid and the windows replaced which should cut down on condensation and drafts.
Finally or should I say first, you enter the flat via a hallway where you can hang coats and keep shoes and ski gear. You will be surprised how much difference that makes.
You get the whole flat and nothing is shared. There is a small balcony. The flat is on the second floor and there is a lift

My motto is that there is only one thing more frightening than death and that is life itself.
