Cosy studio (picture a hotel room with a kitchen) on José Victorino Lastarria, in the heart of the Lastarria quarter, one of the quainest barrios of Santiago and that is quickly also turning into one of the hippest. Good restaurants, wine bars all with tables outside, a good supermarket, art-house cinemas and a lively but relaxed and safe atmosphere, both by day and night. The metro is 40 metres away and practically all of the city's most interesting atractions are within walking distance.
The flat has a rooftop pool in the summer months, laudromat and security 24/7.

Mariana: I’m a journalist by studies and profession. I specialise in gastronomy and I’ve published books on Spanish food as well two novels (and am currently working on a third). After having lived in Barcelona and Madrid for many years, I returned to my native Santiago with my English husband Dominic, who I met in Spain and who has worked in the music biz most of his professional life. We have been renting-out the two apartments through Airbnb for a few months now and are thoroughly enjoying the experience of lodging and meeting the generally cool, adventurous and interesting people that pass through Bellavista. Although we don’t live in the same building (but a couple of streets away) we take pleasure in interacting with the guests as much – or as little – as each of them desire.
Dominic: Am anglo-irish, but I've lived almost all my life outside the UK, in Ireland, France , Spain, Agentina and Chile. I've spent most of my professional life in the music industry with incursions into restaurants and night clubs. I really enjoy the contact we have with the guests and trying to make their stay in the city as special as possible
