Beautiful, safe neighborhood with restaurants and brewery a walk away.
Centrally located to ferry, bus, train transit, Mystic Aquarium and Seaport, Foxwoods, Mohegan Sun, local colleges, USCGA, Subase, EB, Pfizer, and more.
Perfect for short/long term stay. Our guests have included writers, medical students, and interns at the aquarium.
This is a walkout basement/in-law suite with private entry. We're in the upstairs to be a resource if needed, but otherwise will respect your privacy.
The basement/in-law suite has it's own private entry facing the river. You'll enter to a combined living room/kitchen with a built in booth and cozy couch. One bedroom is behind the kitchen and the other is next to the bathroom. The space has a full kitchen (fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, etc). There are 5 windows and a skylight, so it is much brighter than you might otherwise expect. The only oddity about the space is that due to building code restrictions in CT, there is no door between the bathroom and master bedroom. There is still plenty of privacy, but some might find this odd if not warned ahead of time.
The In Law Suite will be yours. We will be upstairs and also have a separate Air BnB unit there, so you may see other guests coming/going during your stay. We have a spacious driveway where most guests choose to park, though street parking is plentiful in the neighborhood. You must park off the street in the event of heavy snow to allow the plows to keep the road clear. We are two blocks from the firehouse, so our road is always the first to be plowed. Again, there is easy parking in the driveway if needed. There may be an option to park in the garage if arranged ahead of time.

Separately controlled AC & Heat units in each bedroom and the living room.
- No smoking, fires or recreational drugs
