A spacious basement apartment with full bath and kitchenette in a newly remodeled home in East Nashville/Inglewood. Access to laundry and full kitchen on the main floor. Walking distance to Riverside Village and convenient to downtown and Opry Mills. Great location and the residence of friendly musician owners. Pet friendly.
We have a newly remodeled, modern home with a large fenced-in backyard for pets. The owner and residents are musicians, so there is plenty of live music happening when we're around. The basement is a large, private space with a 55" Smart TV and Apple TV. There is a separate thermostat to adjust to your liking as well as a kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee machine.
In addition to the basement, guests have access to main floor kitchen, laundry, and living room.

The owner and residents are there most of the time but work during the day. Most mornings and evenings we will be home and up for hanging out or giving recommendations of where to go!
Please park in the street space in front of the house when you arrive and use the front door for going in and out.
I do not have cable or satellite TV, but we are hooked up to wifi with Roku and Apple TV, so feel free to use any live streaming apps that you may have subscriptions to.
Owner and housemates are young and friendly creative professionals. Late night and early morning entries are fine, but no parties without owner approval. No smoking or drugs. Alcohol is permitted. Very friendly and energetic dog is at the house but is not allowed in the basement. We have a quiet and family-friendly neighborhood across the street from a church.
Parking for one or two cars is available at the house. Additional cars can park at the church lot across the street.
I am musician, writer, traveler, teacher, actor, and lifelong learner originally from North Carolina. I have lived for the past 13 years in Nashville, TN and have been recording music and holding down various day jobs since then. My most rewarding day job was as a part-time music teacher and part-time substitute teacher, but I'm happy to be taking a break from teaching right now to focus on my creative pursuits. I've released three albums independently and am still writing, recording, and performing music around the US and world.
I've just moved into a new house in Nashville and have been frequently hosting Couchsurfing guests while I prepare my space for hosting on Airbnb. I'm looking forward to staying in some different Airbnb spaces over the next few months to find out how to have a successful place to host people.
If you host me, I'm really low-maintenance and flexible, and I enjoying sharing music and stimulating intellectual conversation. In the past four years I've hosted and traveled through Couchsurfing and have met great people from all over the world. I enjoy experiencing and learning about other people and other cultures and have found myself able to get along and make friends with people who are very different than me in terms of race, religion, background, and political opinions. I consider that a blessing.
As far as life mottos go, other than the Golden Rule, I think the mantra of "seek first to understand; then to be understood" is essential to a socially connected and fulfilling life.
I am ENFP for any Myers-Briggs enthusiasts.
