We rented this place for four days during a trip to see the eclipse in Nashville.
Eric is a thoughtful guy who left popcorn, other snacks, and brochures/coupons for things to do during our visit, but more than that, he left my husband and I two pairs of eclipse glasses that were almost impossible to find in the days leading up to our trip! He messaged to make sure we arrived safely and encouraged us to get in touch for anything at all. AC and lights were on when we arrived at night. Top notch guy!
Has a comfortable, lived-in vibe that reminded us of home. It's definitely an old house but we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We love to cook big meals, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed when we weren't out enjoying the great local restaurants. By the way, great selection of coffee.
We were never more than 10-15 minutes from anywhere that a couple of tourists needed to go in Nashville - Centennial Park, Kroger, the farmer's market, downtown, shops, the airport, you name it.
It was also easy to avoid traffic when hitting the highway to visit other cool spots in nearby towns - the gorgeous Greenway in Springfield, for example, or the Game Galaxy all-you-can-play-for-$7-an-hour arcade in Smyrna.
Eric's house is on a residential street just steps away from a beautiful park that was perfect for early morning runs on the paved trail around basketball courts, workout stations, and a playground.
A couple of nights we stepped out onto the patio to hear music wafting in on the breeze - a distant marching band one night, a band playing in a house on another. Eric, thanks for being an amazing host in Music City!
