Deluxe King Room (Twin) is a lovely big, bright and airy room, perfect for longer stays so you have room to spread out in. There is a king-sized bed that can be split into two single beds, and the ability for a third roll-out bed to cater for a group of three if need-be. A table to dine in or the perfect location to go out, we are so central that walking everywhere is a breeze.
The room has been renovated with new furniture and fittings. We have taken care to provide fluffy pillows and comfortable bed.
Fresh bottled water, tea, coffee and desk are provided.
Smart TV and free high speed internet access.
Irons, ironing boards and hairdryers are available on request.
The communal kitchenette is available to all guests. It is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, a microwave, small fridge, basic crockery and cutlery.
Guests access the building from the ground floor on Argyle Street, (opposite the Royal Hobart Hospital) and take the stairs up to Reception on the first floor.
The Accommodation is divided into two wings - Argyle Street and Liverpool Street. Guests staying in Argyle Street have access to that wing, guests in the studios have access to the wing on Liverpool Street.
All guests have access to the communal kitchenette (Liverpool Street).
Bathrooms are allocated to each room and are located in the central area of the accommodation.

Reception at Argyle Accommodation will be open from 7.30am daily to 11am and again from 3.30pm - 7.30pm.
Check-in is after 3pm (unless by prior arrangement) and check-out is by 10am (unless by prior arrangement).
We can be contacted any time during your stay up until 9.30pm unless there is an emergency.
The location of our Accommodation is only ONE of its great assets!
Located only 1 block from the CBD, it is opposite the Royal Hobart Hospital, next door to the Argyle Street Car Park and Wellington Arcade which has a supermarket, pharmacy, bottle shop, numerous places to eat and a newsagency.
It is only a 5 minute walk to the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, The Tasmanian Visitor Centre (for tour bookings), a 10 minute walk to the waterfront, Parliament House and Salamanca.
It is also a 5 minute walk to the Grand Chancellor Hotel and the Hunter Street shopping precinct (restaurants, craft shops and the Cruise Centre at Macquaire No 1 wharf).

I have lived in Battery Point for the last five years and wouldn't live anywhere else. Everyday I have the opportunity to walk in one of two beautiful parks only minutes away from where I live. I love gardening but sadly don't spend enough time in my garden - for which I compete with the blackbirds. We are now on a first name basis.
I am a fifth generation Tasmanian, interested in the history that has made Tasmania such an interesting and diverse place to live and Battery Point's place in that story.
I am also a committed traveler having traveled to Peru in 2012, Northern BC in Canada last year and most recently Turkey.
